Public Issue Reporting for Public Reports

What is Public Reporting

In addition to regular hazard reporting for registered using, you need a way for external stakeholders to submit issues. External stakeholders can be:

  • Customers
  • Contractors
  • Suppliers/Vendors
  • Auditors
  • Others parties

The Public Issue Reporting Module was designed to allow such external stakeholders to submit issues into your SMS database. The Public Issue Reporting Module allows external stakeholders to submit safety, security, quality, compliance and environmental issues.

With this module, you can easily place a link on your website or other online place, and public persons can easily and quickly submit a report.

Benefits of Public Reporting

The Public Issue Reporting module is where people outside of your SMS program can submit safety issues without having access to your Automation Tool. It is very useful because, by involving the outside public in the data collection process, you add an extra layer of protection to your program and increase the frequency with which you collect data.

Moreover, employees can also easily use this module, such as from the privacy of their home, to submit issues. All you have to do to activate this module is embed the link somewhere that the public has easy access to, such as on your company website. This is something your webmaster can do in about 60 seconds.

The public report can use the simple (preferred) report, which is very straightforward, quick, and easy to follow.
